Join Us at the 2017 SAS Global Forum

Join us at the 2017 SAS® Global Forum in Orlando, bringing together SAS users from across the globe.

After the success of last year’s event in Las Vegas, SAS is taking this year’s Global Forum to Orlando, Florida, between 2nd and 5th April. SAS Global Forums provide a unique opportunity for like-minded data analytics professionals to come together and take advantage of dozens of workshops, demos, presentations and networking opportunities. Find out just some of what will be involved in this year's Global Forum here.

Included in the line-up of guest speakers at this year’s event are two Amadeus Consultants, who will be presenting to audiences on the topics below.

Elena Muriel, Consultancy Manager at Amadeus, will be hosting a presentation titled “Auditing in SAS® Visual Analytics”. With the aim of ensuring Visual Analytics maintenance and performance is not jeopardised, Elena will explore the three different auditing areas of SAS Visual Analytics, as well as look at how to configure audits and exploit reports beyond the pre-existing templates.

Tamás Bosznay, Senior Consultant at Amadeus, will be speaking on the topic of “Mind-map the Gap – Sentiment Analysis of Public Transport”. This investigation uses SAS Text Miner and SAS Visual Analytics to collate and subsequently visualise opinions shared on social media regarding public transport. The results will be shown using concept maps and word clouds. As an additional step, the process will then categorise opinions according to transport service dimensions and brands.

Keynote speakers at April’s conference are astronaut and former Commander of the International Space Station Colonel Chris Hadfield, artist and innovator Neil Harbisson, and Co-founder and CEO of SAS, Jim Goodnight.
